SCREENING: THE AMERICANS

  • St. Francis College, Founders Hall (map)

Set in a time of leg warmers and Cold War–chill, The Americans follows two Soviet spies (Felicity’s Keri Russell and Brothers & Sisters’ Matthew Rhys) undercover as a troubled married couple trying to steal U.S. secrets and blend seamlessly into American suburban life of the 1980s. Vividly detailed, the show captures Reagan-era politics and pop culture with equal brilliance. Creative team members, Joe Weisberg—himself a former CIA officer—Joel Fields and Justin Weinberger, screen an episode and take you behind the scenes of crafting FX’s award winning drama.
